A woman's decorative shoe buckle from the mid 1800's was transformed into the "Blue Wings" bracelet. The wings are sterling silver set with a blue sapphire cabachon on blue stingray skin leather. The shoe buckle is set with steel cuts rivets - each rivit was hand applied. In today's market, this process would be labor intensive and expensive to reproduce.
